When Caritas Diocese of Brentwood invited everyone to take part in a Reverse Advent Calendar collection for foodbanks, students at the Ursuline Preparatory School leapt into action.
Following the calendar, students collected items every day for their local food bank in the weeks leading up to Christmas in the hope of spreading festive cheer to those in need. The final collection was handed over just before Christmas.
Siân Thomas-Cullinan from Caritas Diocese of Brentwood said: “What excellent witnesses these students are to their faith. We are so proud of them for their generosity and hard work.”
