The day will begin with Bishop Alan welcoming us all. The Director of Caritas Brentwood and Fr Dominic Howarth, Episcopal Vicar for Youth Ministry and Pastoral Care, will also speak. We will then be joined by Edward de Quay, who has been working to develop the Church’s response to Laudato Si’ since 2015 through various roles, including the Catholic Bishops’ Conference and the Laudato Si’ Research Institute.
Later in the day, we will ask participants to choose from one of the three areas of focus/interest, as can be seen on the poster below. People from charitable organisations working on the ground in these fields will facilitate conversations and input.
This day will be an opportunity for those attending to network with others, share ideas and good practices, and enrich their local realities.
Tea, coffee, juice, water and pastries will be available throughout the day.
Please bring your own packed lunch!
